That’s why we need a BBC Scotland committed to producing programmes properly reflective of our country today and an investment system capable of doing the job it was set up to do – ensuring Scotland gets its fair share of resources – and not open to cynical manipulation to thwart change. It’s way past time we stopped underestimating the role of the Culture Secretary.
